*Explanations
- A CO2 lasers wave length is 10.6μm a spot size varies depending on focal lens and quality of the laser tube and is typically around 100-300μm
- True speed values achievable for normal operations without degradation of quality.
Other vendors will advertise theatrical speeds achievable only if the job allows for constant acceleration in a single vector or introduce significant wobble to your vectors. - Dimensions may vary depending on the material due to kerf, however LightBurn can compensate with offsets
- True Dpi is limitation of the spot size. For a CO2 laser the true max dpi will be around 300dpi for any system. However often you will see higher Dpi's. This creates overlapping spots and allows for more exposure of the material increasing detail for some materials. The software allows for DPIs of your choosing.
