Clean cuts

The external compressor provided ensures a clean air supply throughout the cutting and engraving process. The nozzle is designed to provide the perfect balance between clean cuts and avoiding collision with your workpiece, whilst enabling great engraving. 

High Quality 40W Laser

The high quality 40watt CO2 laser housed within the FabCore is able to cut thicker and faster compared to other 40watt rated systems. A better beam profile and convergence allows for a greater final focal power density, so the power is better directed into cutting the material. Cutting 12mm poplar ply and 10mm acrylic cleanly in 1 pass at 3mm/s

The FabCore is designed as a consumer grade Class 1 laser.

This means it can be used anywhere and by anyone. After some brief instructions, students and kids can quickly learn how to use the FabCore, and the teacher can sit back and watch with their cup of coffee!

  • High Accuracy Hybrid Motors

    The FabCore uses 0.9 degree high torque hybrid stepper motors. This provides quick and smooth acceleration and theoretically twice the torque when compared to the common 1.8 degree motors.

  • Professional Software from LightBurn

    The FabCore is powered by LightBurn. A laser cutting preparation software light years ahead of the competition.

  • Interchangeable Lenses

    The FabCore provides the option to switch between a variation of focal lengths and offset distances to ensure perfect results.

    The FabCore is designed to be used by all.

    With a simple control pannel you can jog, load files and cut all from the machine its self.


  • Stand Alone

    No need to tether the FabCore to a computer or a WiFi. Simply copy the prepared file to a USB stick and load into the machine. The FabCore is able to store jobs for future cutting, useful if you are a store with popular reoccurring orders. You can also send files directly from your PC via a USB cable.

  • Smart Firmware

    Power outage? Restart were you left off.

    Pause or open the door and the FabCore will stop. Normally your job would be ruined however thanks to the smart firmware the FabCore will jump back slightly and recut/engrave to make sure nothing was missed.

  • LED Lighting

    Being able to see what is going on inside your machine might seem like an obvious feature, however to our surprise LED lighting is not a common feature for CO2 lasers.

     A clear and concise check list is built into the FabCore, nicely reminding you to double check the important aspects of operating a CO2 laser

  • Sturdy Door

    8mm thick clear acrylic makes for a robust door, combined with a gas strut you don't have to worry about the door closing on your head!

  • Optimal Air Flow

    Removing the smoke generated from laser cutting is really important. The FabCore is designed to have fast flowing air under the cutting grid which will quickly sweep away any smoke generated from the cutting process.

  • Easy to change laser tubes

    CO2 lasers are consumable eventually the laser will need changing. This is often a scary job for many users. With the FabCore we have designed the tube to be as closed to plug and play as possible. Simply unscrew the power and water connection and slide out the old tube. The new tube comes with a new pre-aligned visible laser which can be used to easily align the mirrors.

  • Simple manual focus

    The FabCore has an easy to use manual focus, which ensures perfect focus everytime!

    Insert what you want to engrave or cut, place the focusing billiard on top, lower the nozzle so its in contact tighten and your good to go!


  • Expandable

    Although not currently available the FabCore has previsions for a camera, and a 4th axis rotary (Using the Y axis)

  • Quiet High Flow Compressor

    The FabCore uses a ultra quiet constant flow compressor to provide high volume, constant air flow to help with the cutting process and keep the optics clean. The compressor is also enabled/disabled with the cutting jobs to further help with noise reduction.

  • Class 1 Laser

    Through means of design the FabCore encapsulates its 40W CO2 laser, preventing the exposure of dangerous laser radiation. This means it can be operated without the need of additional safety equipment.

  • Integrated alignment laser

    The FabCore integrates a visible red laser with the invisible 40W CO2 laser. This provides a visible path for the CO2 laser. Making it easier to align the CO2 laser with your work piece. 

  • Emergency Stop

    A mechanical E-Stop breaks power to the machine ensuring that should something go wrong, you always have a clear and straightforward way to shut down the machine.

  • Tri-Colour Status Indicator

    The tri colour led continuously informs you of the laser's current status,

    Red; The laser cannot operate because the door is open or the chiller is off.

    Green; The laser is ready to operate. The door is closed and chiller is running.

    Orange; The laser is currently firing. This will flicker on and off as and when the laser fires. 


  • Dual Interlocks

    To ensure the laser cannot fire with the door open it is important to monitor the state of the door: open or closed. 

    Like all FabCreator machines the FabCore uses two sensors to check the door is closed.

  • Key Switch

    While not a requirement for a Class 1 lasers we like to incorporate key switches into FabCreator machines in order to provide an extra level of control over the machine. 

    Laser cutters are tools not toys, improper use can lead to fire, disabling and removing the key allows everything apart from the laser to work. A great feature for community spaces and schools who might not want unauthorised use of the machine.


  • Chiller Interlock

    DC CO2 lasers need to be cooled, and running a laser without cooling will damage the laser, reducing its lifespan. To ensure the laser cannot be run without the chiller the chiller is incorporated into the safety interlock system.

FabCore FAQ

  • Class 1 Laser?

    The FabCore comes with two lasers; the 40W CO2 laser we use for cutting and engraving and a <0.4mW visible laser which is aligned with the invisible CO2 laser at the source. This means we have a very close visible representation of where the invisible laser will hit.

  • What does the warranty cover?

    The 2 year warranty covers everything apart from consumables.

    Consumables include mirrors, lenses and the laser tube.


    The Fab40W has a 6 month warranty with the passive chiller or 12 months warranty with the active chiller.


    Warranty does not cover shipping cost.

  • Do I need to pay tax ?(VAT)

    Vat registered businesses located within the EU but outside the Netherlands are not required to pay us Dutch VAT.



    Customers located in the EFTA counties are not required to pay us  Dutch VAT, however you will have to pay the applicable import duties in addition to your nation's vat rate. 



    Dutch registered business and non vat registered customers located within the EU are required to pay the Dutch rate of 21% VAT.

  • Where do you ship?

    We ship our products throughout Europe EEA and EFTA. 


    The costs vary but the closer to the Netherlands the cheaper it is.

  • LightBurn Software Subscription

    The FabCore comes with a licence to LightBurn.

    The licence lasts for 365 days, after which it will continue to work but you will no longer receive updates. A renewal is around 30 euros


  • Made to Order

    As a manufacturer we make our machines to order.

    This means it is not possible to refund or return your FabCreator laser.
