Whilst we recommend having a certified CO2 fire extinguisher, they can be bulky and impractical especially if you are travelling to fairs or between classrooms. Whilst fires are very rare and FabCreator lasers are already designed to minimise and encapsulate fire, a fire extinguisher is always good to have nearby in reserve.
Remember never leave you laser cutter running unattended.

We recommend hitting the E-Stop before you use the fire extinguisher and limit the spray to the work area and material to minimise any damage to the machine.
Remember if you never leave you machine unattended most fires (if not all) can be extinguished by blowing them out.
